Knee pain due to meniscus tear
I was having knee pain from 5th july. I ignored it then because I had chondromalecia. But the pain worsened. Recently I had an MRI scan, where the report said peripheral longitudinal tear seen in the posterior horn of lateral meniscus. I am in rest and taking ice packs. I also have joining of my job on 4th August. Will it get cured by then? What should I do more to heal it faster?

Need proper evaluation of MRI .If needed arthroscopic meniscus repair /balancing.If the tear is of full thickness chance of healing is less likely to heal.use knee brace for time being.can have a video consultation if needed. Peripheral tears are repairable
