X ray of knee joint may be more helpful. We need to rule out if it is a case of osteo arthritis, gouty arthritis or any other case of inflammatory arthritis. She might need calcium and Vit D supplements if there is degeneration. Blood test like Uric Acid, RA factor, ASO, CRP may be needed
Get me her knee joint x ray first
If she is having stiffness swelling and pain
Try this at home
Take one half done roti and apply Dhanvantari oil over it and put some saindhav lavan (salt) and haldi powder and erand leaf paste
Tie over knee joint over night
If after this also pain and swelling remains
She needs some more oral Ayurvedic medicine she will be well soon
