My daughter is 6 month old, her left leg knee makes sound sometimes ( cracking sound, sound like when we bend our finger ) . There is no swelling or redness or pain and also active. And she takes her right leg thumb in her mouth but not of left leg.

Joint sounds during movements are usually normal due to movement of tendons and ligaments. One side preference is also common at this age of 6 months. But please visit a pediatrician for a physical check up and confirmation
