You can try conservative Management like pain killers physiotherapy, injections in knee, etc.. of no relief.. then go for knee replacement

Hi As per the xray picture, your father has developed osteoarthritis of moderate grade. If medicine, exercises and loosing weight is not working and he has to take pain killer on daily basis, he needs knee replacement surgery. It's the best option for him right now. He will be pain free. Regards!

Need to examine once before treatment, in case he has bearable pain, he may get away with injection/PRP...The X-Rays shows moderate Osteoarthritis, he will require Knee Replacement in the near future...we can try conservative treatmwnt, if pain doesn't reduce then shall plan for surgery.
