I had ACL partial tear of grade 2 , 1.2 months ago doc suggested me ACL reconstruction, but there is very less pain and I can bend my knee fully, can surgery be avoided.

Hi there I understand your concern... Clinical examination and MRI findings are very important in deciding treatment options...conservative management can be tried in partial tear patients...try hamstring strengthening exercises and take over the counter pain medications...avoid squatting, crossed legged sitting, playing strenuous sports or activities...if no improvements you should get examined by arthroscopic surgeon they will help you further
