Knee hyperextension reoccurring
I've hyperextended my knee again. That's now the 3rd time in 3 years. This time there is more swelling than usual and I've been icing and compressing. Should I be concerned ?

Hello, Yes,it's a matter of concern. You have injury to your ACL ligament .It won't repair on it's own. Depending on MRI the surgeon will decide the take on surgery. Till then keep icing to reduce swelling to some extend and were a knee brace to prevent further injury due to hyperextension. Hope for speedy recovery
Next Steps
