It could be a kind of malfunction at knee joint plz visit any physio with good skills in assessing and treating you will be ok after that...

It's just a mere case of tendon slip while functional activity bcz of your muscle shortening  of knee joint muscles..
Next Steps
approach to a sports physio with expertise in myofascial trigger points release therapy manually or with dry needling and kinesiolocial taping application..u will be alright in 4-5 sessions. .
