Klebsiella pneumoniae
Baby was 20 days weight 3.300 in culture urine the klebsiella pneumoniae was found doctor said.
And started Amikasin bottle injection 1/4 for 7 days morning evening
I have a query and fear sir the Amikasin is sufficient or any drop like cefixime I have to use Pls. Advice.
Because last time u suggested me before urine culture cefixime have to start. But I have not started and went for culture urine with doctor..
My pediatrician drop not written so just clarity me can I use cefixime or injection is enough Pls. Advice

if the culture report suggests that the klebsiella strain is sensitive to amikacin, then only that is sufficient. there is no point in giving multiple antibiotics for no reason
