Kidney stone
Hello, i drink three to four litres of water daily. I have high triglycerides, so doc gave me stanlip tablet and omega 3 salmon capsule. Can this tablets be a reason for kidney stone of 3.5mm?

Hello. Stanlip or fenofibrate is known to affect the kidneys.they may cause atone formation because of reduced urine formation. How we since you have just started the medication (what I presume from your history) the stone must have been present from before. You need not stop stanlip. Continue taking it and get KFT and Usg kub done every 6 months. Also the renal stone Syp k Cit 2 tsp TDS is good enough and evaluation with usg as I mentioned above
