Kidney stone / diabetes
My mother is suffering from kidney stone. she is previously been operated (ESWL)for kidney stone in her left kidney about 9 months back. Now she has stone in her right kidney about 9mm size. is it recommend to operate again her kidney. she also has diabetes. i am confused who to consult nephrologist or urologist. please help..Is there any other way to treat kidney stone.

Hi Consult a urologist first . Treatment required or not will be decided after examination and few investigations.
