Kidney infection with diabetes
My mother is a diabetic and has been diagnosed with severe kidney infection. She's in hospital currently undergoing antibiotic treatment. She's been getting fever constantly since last 6 days. Her TLC was 35000 4 days ago and has dropped to 14000 today.
I want to know if it's normal for diabetes patients to get kidney infections or should we be worried and take a different course of treatment?
