Hello You didnot mention whether contraction is  unilateral or bilateral. more important to know the urea and creatine value. Recurrent UTI , unilateral renal artery stenosis and other causes can lead to small kidney or some time may congenital from birth. Cancer usually donot produce contracted kidney on the other hand hypernephroma cause enlarge ment. If renal function impaired need consultation.
