Recently i got to know I am having Keratoconus. Doctor suggested me to go with C3R surgery and also CAIRS surgery for Diagnosis.
How ever C3R is mandatory can you please let me know if CAIRS treatment is safe and accurate.

CAIRS is variation of Intra stromal ring segments. In this case we are using human corneal tissue instead of artificial acrylic segments. The purpose is to improve the curvature of the cornea.
You have to discuss with your treating surgeon about the risks benefits
