Keratoconus
Hello Sir/Mam, Actually i am Diagnosed with Keratoconus in september 2016 initially i visited local doctors in faridabad, all doctors suggested me for C3R surgery but at last i visited AIIMS(Dr Rajender Prasad Hospital) from then to till date all my pentacam test showing same reading and no progressuin is shown. My treatment is going in contact lens department in AIIMS they suggested me for Rigid Contact Lens which i purchased from vendor in delhi, Lens provides good vision but after using it for one month lens created dryness problem in my eyes and AIIMS dept me advised me to not use lens for one month now at this point am very worried because aiims contact lens dept said that no alternative is there for good vision. So atlast i want to ask should i visit highly reputed eye care hospital. if yes the please suggest me where should i prefer to go. so that i will able to live normal life. Thanks

Health Tips
RGP or RoseK or Miniscleral contact lenses are definitely good options for visual rehabilitation and take care of symptoms like glare halos. C3R should be definitely considered depending upon age and corneal topography parameters. But if stable can be observed. Intacs are good option if u don't want specs or not able to tolerate contact lenses. Corneal transplant is d last option if there is any scarring in visual axis and is affecting vision.
