Is fermented rice kanji good or bad? I soak rice cooked for lunch at around 2 pm with plain water in an earthen pot for nearly 22 hours. I blend this rice with salt and curd and drink it around 12 pm the next day noon for breakfast. The problem i am facing is i sometimes get diarrhea 3-4 hours after drinking this kanji. Eg: When i pass stools in the morning, the stools are normal. Afternoon i get diarrhea and night my stools are back to normal. This happens occasionally, not everyday. Should i stop drinking kanji?

Kanji does not have side effects .additives u add like curds / buttermilk should not be very sour ,.
U can add jeera hing sauted in ghee./ Or add pomogranate fresh at the time of drinking .
