I have pain in my right hand ring finger but it's not there while am doing anything but when I am not doing anything my hands are relaxed I feel pain in my ring finger only

Is the pain more in early morning or in cold weather? If yes might be rheumatoid arthritis. For now take analgesics and use finger splint.
