Jock Itch Problem
I have been suffering from jock for several months. I used anti fungal power like Ciploc. But after using it for days. I'm not seeing any results. Sometimes the affected area looks like it is getting better. But as soon as I stop using that powder, the rashes come back. It feels really itchy. and it makes me want to scratch that area every time. Whenever I scratch, it gets more worse. First, it was just the itching, now they is a burning sensation at the scratched part. Please suggest a solution for this. I really want to get rid of this problem.

You must be having fungal infection. Fungal infection tends to affect folds of the skin, moist areas like groins, armpits, mouth, genitals, under the breasts, webs between fingers and toes, etc. Our skin protects us from fungal/yeast attack, but any cut or break in the continuity of the skin can allow penetration of fungus. It gives rise to rash, eruptions, redness, burning, intolerable itching and abnormal discharges at times. Fungal infection tends to last for many years if not treated well. It is also contagious. 1. Make sure no one around you has it 2. Take a proper course of medicines 3. Absolutely Avoid using preparations like Quadriderm Four derm Betnovate c etc which contain steroids. 4. Wear loose fitting cotton clothes 5. Don't share towels etc 6. Of late lot of resistance to medicines is seen, so it may require a longer course or change of medicines Avoid steroid containing creams like Zole F etc.  application of steroid containing creams Betnovate etc just suppresses it on surface but it grows beneath the skin and spreads everywhere and also becomes more resistant. Fungal infection or Ring worm.. when occurs in groin, called as jock itch.. Usually fungal infection is common in moist areas of body like skin folds..It's mostly circular or round in appearance.. May be red or black in colour.. Treatment depending on the type and severity.. Avoid sharing clothes, towels and soap; sweating also increases it..As it has to be differentiated from eczema and infection, its a must to see and confirm the diagnosis for proper treatment..So, please send photos of the affected area by direct online consultation for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
