Jaundice in newborn baby
My baby is born in 36 w 3 d, 2 days after birth her jaundice value was 13.7 which was reduced to 8 after phototherapy of one day and she was discharged. But after 2 days again i am seeing yellowness in her eyes and body. We started keeping her under morning sunlight from today, will she recover or we need to again give her phototherapy?

I think she will recover. If possible do consult your pediatricisn and if needed you may repeat the test

Jaundice is normal in newborn babies. It usually takes 5-7 days to completely recover As the 2nd report shows a falling level. Not to worry If still in doubt or if you feel jaundice is increasing. Get a repeat test done tomorrow Feed enough milk for jaindice to pass out through stools and urine
