Jaundice for 9 days baby girl
My daughter is just 9 days old, when she was 3 days old, her bilirubin level was 16.2 then she was undergone for phototherapy for 24 hrs after that bilirubin level was reduced to 12.4 then after 2 days again we did TSB to check the bilirubin level it was increased to 15.3.  Again after 3 days now, today it was showing as around 14.8. So Nenonatogy advised to take GARDENAL Syrup - 20mg/5ml, to consume 2ml-2 ml twice a day for 5 days, then asked us to come after 5 days post these tests LFT, CBP. Kindly advise is it good to take GARDENAL Syrup for Jaundice for 9 days baby girl

Gardenal has some side effects like drowsiness, slow feeding. As long as baby is OK and it's only for a few days it's OK
