Jaundice billirubin level not reducing

Asked for Female, 30 Years

My new born baby was detected with jaundice at 4 th day of birth with levels 12 and was given photo therapy at the time of discharge on 5th day her levels were 10.9. however after 15 days when we repeated the test level still at 10.6. jaundice is not getting cured should we be worried as dr is not giving polio and vaccines due to jaundice

We call it prolonged jaundice if longer than 2 weeks. We try to look for cause of jaundice if so. But this level if reducing is of no concern. Visit a pediatrician doctor to show how the child is clinically and to rule of various causes of jaundice.
