IVF Treatment Progesterone Dosage
My doctor recommended me progestrone till 16 weeks, susten 400mg vaginally twice day. In my NT scan, placenta was low lying, just a cm away from internal os. Is it safe to take susten vaginally for rest 3 weeks in this case? I underwent IVF FET. I tried checking with my doc, but is away for few weeks. Thank you doctors in advance.

It’s safe to take progesterone during pregnancy. Usually low lying placenta will migrate after 20wks . As you are IVF patient, you can continue Susten 400mg twice a day upto 20wks, thereafter you can change to tab. Susten-SR 300mg daily 1tab upto 28 wks
