Itraconazole side effects
Hello Dr, so recently i visited a nearby dermatologist for my forehead skin which is scaly and black Dr prescribed me omnacortil 20mg for 2 weeks and fultivate cream for 2 weeks, but after taking omnacortil on 6th day my skin got very itchy the area got raised and circles appeared, I visited the Dr again he stopped the omnacortil and prescribed me itraconazole 100mg for 2 weeks, after taking itraconazole, from 3rd days having bad side effects very bad side effects, irregular fast heartbeat, nausea and took ondansetron 8mg still wants to puke, unusual tired and weakness can't focus. plz help Dr. What should I do now for the fungal infection on my belly leg thigh all over. I stopped itraconazole for now I couldn't breath and stop the fast heartbeat yesterday plz help plz 😭😭

Please stop itraconazole immediately and never take it again. You can apply topical antifungal creams instead. I think you should see another dermatologist who csn helps you.

Some of the patients have faced similar side effects with itraconazole. First of all, let's confirm it is Ring worm or not. Better take a online consultation with images of lesions. We can antifungals if you are able to Tolerate itraconazole. Don't worry it can be easily curable.
