iTrace is a diagnostic equipment to determine the different aberrations in your eye using ray trace technology which is superior to wavefront analysis. It quantifies the different aberrations in your eye like aberrations in cornea , lens etc.  It also gives you an insight on The outcome of wavefront guided LASIK.  Hence a surgeon can suggest if you require wavefront guided LASIK or not.
