I have a itchy rectum. Slightly inside and outer skin. I showed it to a doctor she kept me on Allegra for a month and recommended two de warming tables in span of 1 week. But it's still itchy and making public appearances difficult. There are no rashes no redness no pimples just itching. What should I do ?

itchy rectum (pruritus ani) is surprisingly common, and while it can be annoying, it’s usually treatable. Let’s go over possible causes:
Common causes:
Poor hygiene or leftover stool residue
Excessive cleaning or use of scented wipes/soaps causing irritation
Hemorrhoids
Fungal or yeast infections (especially if it’s moist or sweaty)
Worms (pinworms) — more common in kids but possible in adults
Skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis
Diet-related triggers — spicy foods, coffee, alcohol, citrus, or chocolate can sometimes cause rectal itching
Anal fissures (small tears from hard stools)
