Itchy, painful little bumps on scalp

Asked for Male, 32 Years

I have itchy and painful little bumps on my scalp. They don't have any puss, they just cause pain and itch occassionally. I am currently have a bit of long hair(they are reaching down my eyes now). What could be the reason for the same and what can I do to cure this?
