Itchy face with light red rashes

Asked for Male, 30 Years

I have never had this problem before.3-4 days back my face got red rashes (more like the prickly heat rashes we get on the back sometimes). Now there is increased itching though the rashes have reduced a bit. Also after washing face in cold water there visible reduction in the rashes for some time. All I could think of as a reason is that I had been to Chennai and faced some very hot sun for a day, and also was through some unhygienic areas couple of days before the rashes showed up. Is it an allergy or is it due to the sudden hot weather exposure, am not sure. Please suggest how I can get rid of this problem.
