Itching in anal area
I have itching in my anal area. The itching is not inside the anus, but the itching is in the skin around the anal opening, inside the butt cheeks. The itching is intense where, no matter how much i scratch, i feel like scratching more. The skin looks clean and there is no visible infection. This started about 10 days back when i started walking 6km a day for exercise purpose. First 5 days of walking, i had rashes due to skin friction and these rashes were painful. Later, the pain changed to itching. Is this itching normal after friction rashes? Should i wait for a few days or should i see a doctor?
