Is TVS scan and Ultrasound scan differen
Right now am 6th week pregnant and my last 3 HCG levels are Last missed period - Feb 15th 1st Beta HCG - 68.53 mlu/ml. (Mar 21st) - 36th day 2nd Beta HCG - 259.1 mlu/ml (Mar 24th) - 39th day 3rd Beta HCG - 1114.46 mlu/ml (Mar 28th) - 43rd day Some of the doctors are saying do transvaginal sonography scan to see the location of pregnancy and some of the doctors saying do ultrasound scan to see the embryo Is both scans are same and same purpose or different, please explain

You can go for any scan.. If not seen properly in abdominal scan which is likely at this beta hcg.. transvaginal will be needed.. No big deal

The most accurate test to locate the pregnancy is a transvaginal ultrasound which is essential for locating the pregnancy is origin whether it is from the tubes or from the uterus however beta HCG is favouring in for intrauterine pregnancy

Yes both scan are almost same. Wait for at least a week then get a tvs scan if no pain or bleeding at present.
