My brother has 2 bowel movements per day sometimes 3, earlier he had just one in the morning. The stools are slightly unformed at times and sometimes yellowish. He is having difficulty putting on weight unlike earlier when he used to put on weight very easily. There is no abdominal pain or discomfort. Sometimes minor growling at times and some amount of gas.

1 or 2 motions can be normal. If no complaints then need not worry. If there are any complaints kindly visit any Gastroenterologist nearby.
