Is this high dose of steroid for covid

Asked for Female, 27 Years

Is methylprednisolone 16 bd for 3days and od for 3days...no comorbidity... normal CBC...crp 6 ... random blood sugar on glucometer 113 to 125...is above mentioned dose of steroid is high for covid patient in home isolation ? I m afraid of black fungs

Steroids taken in lower dose, and Properly tapered will not be harmful .

Next Steps

ay affect if patient is also having other co morbidities like diabetes, renal disease or immunocompromised state
