Is this cavity needed filling or RCT?
Hi, Is the tooth( second upper molar) showing any severe cavity? I went for routine check and my dentist mentioned that I need immediate filling on this Tooth. If not done quicker, he said I may need or end up with root canal. Is this cavity very bad and need immediate filling? Thank you.

Please attach clear photograph of effected tooth also for better evaluation. But remember if a cavity has started then you should go for filling as if you delay then it might worsen with time. But it's not an emergency case, whenever you feel comfortable then get it filled. Still have queries then please consult with doctor online or offline for better guidance and treatment options.
