Is there treatment for Tinnitus?
Hi Doctor, My mother is suffering from tinnitus from past 6 years, she continuously hears the ringing sound, she is using hearing aid from past 2 years for both the ears, still she complains me stating I can't hear clearly. Could please let us know is there cure or treatment for her tinnitus?

Tinnitus associated with hearing loss can be masked by hearing aids ... As per ur discription the hearing aids are not working properly for her ... Kindly get a repeat hearing test and get the hearing aids recalibrated ...in case u want more details plz consult online

Actually if tinnitus is hearing loss related there is no treatment for tinnitus. Hearing aid usually masks the tinnitus. So if she is still having tinnitus with the aids please get the hearing aids callibrated for recent hearing loss. Please call for further doubts.
