Hi doc,
I am in my 9th week of pregnancy. I have stopped intake of sugar, tea, coffee 3 months before pregnancy to avoid any complications. Can I take sugarfree or stevia as substitute. ? What will you recommend for constant sugar cravings? I do not have any health issues currently,

If you are having no medical issues then do not cut down sugar .you can reduce the amount but do not stop it.Avoid too much choclate , outside sweets and bakery products in excess but continue everything in moderation.
First of all are you dibetic?
If not then u don't hv to cut sugar, tea , coffee.. u can lower their consumption. Personally i would not recommend to take substitute or any synthetic meds or product. Keep it matural, monitor ur sugar. If u are craving then check whether its low or not, if yes then u hv to take sugar. If no then opt for fruits to satisfy ur cravings. Fruits are healthy, don't elevate blood sugar levels very high and it improves digestion
Are you diabetic ? If not then instead of sugar free you can have 1 teaspoon full of sugar per day. Otherwise check your blood sugar levels then only decide to have sugarfree
