Is steel plate inserted in leg is safe
On 17 th my surgical operation for treatment of ankle fracture was done with inserted steel plates with screw, my concern is that is safe to steel inserted in leg. Is cause other deseasce in body

Approved by concerned authorities for use in humans.
It practically does not interact with human tissue in any way, in some cases it may cause bursitis die to mechanical irritation.
In worst cases it may catch infection, may act as a house for bacteria to grow on, if your initially surgery had issues.
