It's very very safe. Sometimes pregnant women need to undergo more scans to monitor the well being of the baby. U can have daily scans also if situation demands for seeing the baby's getting adequate blood supply and growing normally. It's safe. No harm has been recorded yet.its getting used for many years, no adverse effects
