Is nash seious disease
I underwent a complete health check up in aig hospitals hyderabad...my reports are all fine except grade1 fatty liver and sgpt 56...doctor wrote in the prescription as "nash" and gave me ursocol 450 mg for three months..i m worried...can anyone tell me is there anything to worry

Hi NASH means non alchoholic liver disease.It means fat stored in liver. Can happen to people who take little or no alchohol at all too.Diabetes ,pcod,cholesterol can add to injury .Prevention is the key.You can also take homoeopathic medicines along with urcosol

NASH stands for non alcoholic steato hepatitis, also known as non alcoholic fatty liver disease. Nothing to worry much. SGPT is little high, it will come to normal with the medicine. Uroscol 300 mg is also sufficient to control SGPT level. How much is SGOT and bile acids?
