Ma'am in just 8 days there wont be any improvement as there  neesa to be proper way to diagnoae the sciatica and apply eletro theraoy sometimes due to age and previous medical history also required to treat the pain. I suggest you to take SWD+US for atleast 10 days and start with lower back strengthening exercises.

Proper exercises are important to get relief, only electrical modalitied wont help. Physiotherapy is not a 1 day job. With proper exercises and manual therapy you will improve gradually. But make sure you are doing correct exercise and not taking only electrotherapy.
Next Steps
You can consult a Physiotherapist for proper exercise prescription, and also a ortholedic doctor.
Health Tips
Only medicine or only electrotherapy wont help. it should be combined with exercises and manual therapy

Hello, Does lying on your stomach relieves your pain? If yes , then you may start with lumbar extension exercises. I would suggest you consult an Orthopedic before starting any exercise and get a proper diagnosis done. Electrotherapy( Current) alone won't provide you much relief unless combined with specific exercises.
Next Steps
consult orthopedic
Health Tips
Avoid forward bending movements Apply hot pack at low back for 15-20 min to relieve pain
