Is IGE test is specific for breathing ?
Since childhood I have running nose problem. ENT doctor said I have running nose allergy. And prescribed alaspan tablet. Post covid pulmonologist suggested IGE test for breathing problem. IGE report came high Pulmonologist doctor said I have allergy because of that I am facing breathing problem. But before covid I never had breathing problem. I just want to know. IGE test is specific for breathing allergy Or for all allergy? IGE test for all allergy? Or IGE report is positive for maybe running nose?

Ig E and Eosinophil counts are elevated in allergy conditions and cause breathing problems. Post Covid may cause as it affects immune system. Avoid triggers such as polen, dust. As well as follow treatment

IgE levels will be elevated in allergic conditions.. U have allergic rhinitis.. For every allergy some precipitating factors will be there, you have to observe what is precipitating your symptoms like climate, food, dust, travelling.. try to avoid the precipitating factor... U can take Tab. Montek LC 0-0-1 if you have cold and nasal block..
