Is HbA1c 6.5% is normal
Dear sir/madam,
I check my HbA1c for the first time just to check whether I
am diabetic or not as we have a family history of diabetic.
Test results shows it is 6.5 %
I have no previous illness and not on any medicine.
Please let me know I am diabetic? Require any medication. Please suggest.

Hba1c of more than or equal to 6.5% is suggestive of Diabetes. So you are at exactly cutoff point.
HBA1C is affected by many factors like your Hemoglobin level. So need to see for that.
