Is daily intake of psyllium husk harmful
Is daily intake of psyllium husk(isabgol) harmful? Are there any downsides? I have IBS, doctor recommended me a syrup for constipation for a month but I'm thinking to substitute that with isabgol, is there any downsides to it? What is an ideal quantity for a daily user? I understand it might be habit forming but I was anyway recommended another syrup for a month. My goal is to have a clean bowel in the morning, reduce gas and acidity and bloating.
