Is Baking Soda safe for kid
Is it safe for a 2-year-old child to consume food that contains baking soda? If safe how much amount is safe to eat? I'd appreciate information on both occasional and regular consumption in homemade or store-bought baked items.

Small amounts of baking soda naturally present in baked goods are usually safe for a 2-year-old when consumed occasionally, but regular or excessive intake is not recommended because of potential sodium toxicity and gastrointestinal effects.
