Is allopathic medicine used in Ayurveda
Is allopathic medicines like antibiotics e.g. amoxicillin and other medicines used/prescribed in Ayurveda? I have heard that only natural antibiotics are used.

Allopathy s different, Ayurveda s different... Concept of krimi n krimihara is there... But their usage n application widely varies... Anti biotics in some rare instance can be used in terms of krimi chikitsa... Eg in TB. The prob with allopathy is they put too much of stress on microbes and their management, for each and every pathology, rather than understanding the body's physiology n its mechanisms. To the extent, even a agni vikara(digestive problem) is blamed on H.pylori. They miss out on so many factors like circadian rhythm, food, nutrition, age , climate etc etc... Antibiotics , a beautiful direct krimihara medicine, lost its effective ness because of their own selective understanding and universal application...
