Is a black spot skin cancer
Hi I am 36 year old female. I have a hormonal problem due to which I have irregular menses and my skin is also getting dark. On my hands there are few black spots that have recently developed. I have heard a lot about skin cancer these days. Does these spots indicate i have skin cancer? what could be the reason of these spots?

There can be several causes why your skin would turn dark or you may get pigmentation. Sun tan, overweight, pigmentation disorders like acanthosis nigricans or melasma, nutritional deficiency etc are some conditions. Unless someone examines you, we cannot know the cause.
