I am a 26-year-old female with PCOS. For the past few days, I have been experiencing a persistent warm sensation and mild irritation in the vaginal/vulvar area. There is no significant pain, no burning during urination, no itching, no foul-smelling discharge, and no abnormal vaginal bleeding. My urine culture is negative, and my pelvic ultrasound showed only bilateral polycystic ovarian pattern with no ovarian cyst or mass. I would like to know what could be causing this warm sensation and irritation.

For irritation in the vagina there is no need to get sonography of the lower abdomen done. A urine examination may be of some help.
The best is a physical examination by a Gynaecologist.
