Irregular Prolonged Bleeding (2 Months)
“Doctor, I had my last proper period on 19 February. After that, since around 19 March, I have been having continuous light bleeding/spotting, and this has been going on for almost 2 months now. It is not heavy, but I notice small amounts of blood daily, especially when I go to the washroom. I have not had sex in the last 2 months. I also have a thyroid problem and am taking treatment for it. Along with this, I am feeling weakness, swelling in my feet, pain in my lower abdomen, and a feeling of tightness in my tummy area. Could you please tell me what might be causing this? Is it related to my thyroid or hormonal imbalance? Do I need any tests or treatment? Is this something serious?”
