Irregular periods
My period cycle got irregular ( 40 days).I consulted doctor and she prescribed me duphaston 10 mg from day 16-25 ( of period cycle).My ultrasound was normal and I got my thyroid test also done..that was normal..So I took the dupshaston this month from day 16 to 25..My last dose was on 30 Nov..doctor told me that duphaston will help regularise the periods..I want to know whether I have to take the duphaston every month from day 16 to 25 of period cycle ??

yes you can take it every month provided it is proven to have a hormone imbalance in the second half of luteal phase defect this will be explained by your doctor if not contact directly for more details and discussion on this
