Irregular and heavy menses
I am 44 years old and have been facing irregular menses for sometime with mood swings and sometimes heavy menses
Doctor has advised me iud mirena
Should I go for it or try some natural options first like homeopathy etc
Please advise

Hi, You need to urgently consult a Gynaec to rule out any pathology of the Uterus, Tubes and ovaries. Ultrasonography and clinical checkup and history are necessary to arrive at a diagnosis. Also some blood tests need to be be done. Maybe a hormonal treatment and DAnd C are required.

Hi. You need to do a Pelvic Scan to see there is no other problem . Then you can put Mirena .
