My doctor told me to start taking iron supplements to help with my anemia, so I purchased some today and they’re 65 mg Per tablet. However, I have been researching and reading that I should not exceed over 25 mg of iron per day because even at that level, it can be toxic. Why is this daily tablet so much if it’s dangerous for me? What should I do? I am 5 foot 2 inches and weigh 110 pounds.
