Introducing cow milk
Hello sir / ma'am, My 11 months old daughter is doing well. Can i start giving her cow milk?? Uptill now for her milk fetish we are giving her Formula milk which is taking a huge toll on our expenses. Breast milk is also poorly available from her mother now. Pls suggest

Encourage child on semisolid diet... Keep milk diet as minimal as you can... You can start cow's milk after 1 yr but keep max 2 cups of milk in 24 hrs ..

Hi. Yes you can give cow or buffalo milk. also add energy dense home cooked food like khichdi, dalia, vegetable pulav. for snacks, give banana, papaya, mashed potatoes.

You can introduce cow milk now, if she is also being fed other things too in her diet. Cow milk can not be given exclusively if the baby is being fed milk only, because it is a very poor source of iron and can cause anemia.

Hello,actually speaking one should not give cow milk untill one completed year.Only one more month left so please avoid animal milk till one year.After one year you can safely give cow milk.As she is 11 months old you can all other foods that you cook at home except egg white(introduce egg white after one year).Give formula milk 2 to 3 times per day and not more than that for one more until she is ready for cow milk.If any queries contact me
