Intimate area infection related issue
I've been experiencing yellowish thin vaginal discharge with fishy odour in large extent. There is no itching or redness , only discharge throughout the day. I had to take emergency contraceptive approximately 4-5 days ago since then this is happening regularly everyday. Rest everything is fine just the discharge in large extent. What could the reason be and what medicine should i take now?

A thin discharge with a fishy odour and little or no itching is a fairly typical description of a bacterial imbalance in the vagina rather than a yeast infection, which usually itches and produces a thicker white discharge. The distinction matters because the treatments differ, and treating the wrong one is why these problems often recur. It is confirmed simply, with an examination and a swab.
